SRCC - Wings of Fire
SRCC-Wings of Fire is a student-to-student assistance initiative. With the motive “Sharing is Caring”, it was started in February 2016, to help the students learn from each other. The cabinet comprises of those third years who have successfully managed both CA-IPCC and their college life well.
Events and Activities
Open Classes
Open classes for Corporate Accounting and Direct Tax were conducted that assisted the SRCC students in understanding concepts, resolving queries and keeping themselves updated and motivated.
Notes, Videos, Audios
A set of online notes, videos, and audios for the subjects like Audit, Advance Accounts, Tax, Ethics and Communication, ITSM, etc. were prepared both for B.Com students and IPCC students. Apart from that a network of all the CA students was created in the college to connect them and help them learn from each other. A lot of activities like online questionnaires, doubt sessions, etc. were taken. Renowned teachers were contacted to conduct mock tests for IPCC November 16 attempt students.
WhatsApp Group
A WhatsApp group for those appearing for CA-IPCC in Nov’16 was also formed to provide a platform for discussing queries, amendments and certain crucial topics. Currently a WhatsApp group for May 17 is helping students in planning and expediting their preparation.
CA Confluence 2017
CA Confluence was organized on 21st January’17 to celebrate Chartered Accountancy. The confluence was inaugurated by Shri Amarjit Chopra Ji, Past President, ICAI and was followed by interactive sessions with distinguished teachers and personalities in the profession. Many events such as CA Tambola, Know your Profession, Highest and Unique bid, CA-Holic were also conducted.
